I like the look and workflow. Too early to say for sure, but coffee seems better than from my regular MHW shaker.
I was a big fan of the previous model and this one is even better. Expect more consistency with your puck prep and nice even extraction.

The espresso accessory is great and it does distribute grounds in a nice and fluffy pile. However, it’s missing one big selling point and that’s the ability to use it as a blind shaker! It has all the makings of a device you can pour grounds into and shake (which is proven to be best WDT way for extraction). But unfortunately, the device is made in a way where they is a space between the internal mechanism and the lid. Since there is space when you try to shake it, the internal mechanism moves allowing coffee to spill out of the bottom. I would replace my Weber blind shaker with this one if I could shake it! All the At needs to be done is to machine the internal mechanism directly up against the lid so no movement is possible during shaking - look at the Weber shaker and the way the lid touches the internal distributor without spilling. I think it’s definitely for coffee nerds and could be Weber if this small change was made.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Very Disappointing Product I received this item with a clear dent and scratches on the surface, which shows extremely poor quality control. I paid for a new and flawless product, but what I got looks like a used or damaged item. The company’s response was also unprofessional, trying to downplay the issue instead of taking responsibility. Totally unacceptable. I do not recommend this product at all. Save your money and buy from a seller who respects customers.
This actually made a bigger difference than I was expecting. The grounds are really evenly distributed in the basket and with the single dose grinder I find it easier to pull consistent shots now. And the build quality is superb!

There was a slight logistics problem with my order; once straightened out I received this tool. I already owned & enjoyed the Cyclone distributor. I saw a video with this new model & I decided to try it - Glad I did. It is more impressive, both in appearance & heft. The WDT results were even better than the Cyclone. It is also neater. It also includes a mat, extra needles (I hope the needles will be available in the future, just in case) & pliers to handle the needles. I also have the newest shaker; I am having fun comparing the results.

The order reached me only three days ago & I have used it twice. Shaker vs WDT is a debate among serious espresso lovers. Both methods work. I own the original MHW-3BOMBER shaker & decided to give the new upgrade a try. It's a bit different & certainly very well constructed. My two shots were excellent so I have no complaints. This does things neater than the original. I'm awaiting the new improved pro needle distributer so the battle between methods will continue. MHW-3BOMBER creates innovative products using quality materials.
